A new game in the Terraforming Mars universe is coming 2021! This time it's a card game.
The next expansion in line for the every growing Marvel Legendary will be Annihiliation. It will be released Summer 2021.
This expansion can be considered the sequel to the classic expansion "Guardians of the Galaxy" that came out in 2014, with goodies like shards and more heroes for the GoG roster.

Sushi Go is a game designed by Phil Walker-Harding, published by Gamewright. In this game, players will be diners eating at a sushi restaurant as they try to collect the best combinations of dishes available. They will score points from the cards that they collect. The player that is best able to score the right combinations and collect the most points will be declared the winner.
In Legendary: World War Hulk, the 16th expansion for Marvel Legendary, the focus is, surprisingly enough, around the Hulk.
Kidding aside, this expansion lets the players dive into the Planet Hulk and World War Hulk storylines from Marvel Comics, which obviously will bring a lot of new characters into the Marvel: Legendary Deck Building Game, and also blurs out the lines between the "good" guys and the "bad" guys. Hulk is both. If you don't know what I mean go read the comics!

One could say this is a perfect filler game (You know, the kind of games you play between games or when you are waiting for someone. Or perhaps as a the last game when the hour is getting late).
-One would be right.
Biblios takes about 20-30 minutes to play including set up, it's easy to teach, packs a great amount of replayability, and appeals to newbies and hardcore gamers alike.
This game was released in 2016 with what seemed like a big marketing campaign. For reasons beyond us it seems to have failed somewhat. One reason could be the theme of the game and the color palette, which for non D&D fans could be off putting. But you should never judge a book or a boardgame by the cover, should you?
This expansion revolves around a new extension board which contains new cities like Chicago, Detroit, and New York City, amongst others. The new board overlaps the uppermost part of the original board, covering the old ones.
Be advised that business is much more difficult on this rails, so players will want to take advantage of friendly hospitality by establishing branchlets and helping form towns. In addition to the new railway system, players will also discover new station master tiles, private buildings, and an expanded player board to offer more strategic depth in their decision making.
A fully simultaneous deck-builder sure sounds interesting and Philosophia: Floating World promises to be just that. Combine this with ideas from games like Race for the Galaxy and Inis, together with artwork of Edo Japan, and it sounds like good times indeed.

The set will probably be a 200 card set like Revelations, which is the new size of the Big Box expansions.

Someone said to me that the last expansion of the deck builder Dominion was coming out. I believed them. Well, I believed the part where there would be an expansion was coming out, but I laughed at the notion that it was gonna be the last one.
That expansion in question was Dominion: Guilds which was the 8th one. Here we are a couple of years later and now it's time for the 13th expansion; Dominion: Menagerie. Let's have a quick look.
A very interesting looking game is currently on Kickstarter, Gladius. Gladius betting and bluffing kind of game, with a gladiator theme, kind of like the awesome classic Cheaty Mages.
This game takes things a bit further by adding more possibilites than CM, without adding a lot of unneeded complexity. Sounds good? Yes, it sure does.
An expansion for the awesome coop game Spirit Island is on its way. It's called Jagged Earth and like expected, it will contain new spirits, power cards, adversaries, etc. But it will also contain some new stuff, like badland tokens, which is a new way to fight the invaders.
Stonemaier Games has announced another expansion for their success story, Wingspan. The expansion will take us to Oceania, like the name suggests, with species found in Australia and New Zealand, among others.
It has also been confirmed that this expansion will be compatible with Wingspan: Europe, or just the base game.
The same team that made the base game will also be designing this one and will be out sometime 2020.

The next expansion in line for the Marvel: Legendary series is Heroes of Asgard
This expansion will come out on February 26th, 2020 and will mark the 20th expansion to the game, which is pretty crazy.
Another Marvel Legendary expansion is on the horizon, with a focus on S.H.I.E.L.D. It's a small set with 100 cards and it will feature new heroes, masterminds, villain groups, etc. Perhaps the biggest news is the special S.H.I.E.L.D. officers to mix in with Maria Hill.
Another Villainous set is hitting the stores in the coming days, and it's called Evil Comes Prepared. It's is playble on it's own for 2-3 players, and also compatible with the base game and Wicked to the Core.
The villians in question are Scar (Lion King), Yzma (The Emperor's New Groove) , and Ratigan (The Great Mouse Detective).
Another miniature game is on the horizon; This time a fighting style where your champions duke it out in an arena. The players create a team of three unique champions, all which comes with their own mini-deck of six cards which define their individual attacks, skills, and reactions.
The game is made for one on one fighting, however, it does support 4 players as well, the more the merrier, and more chaotic, we'd imagine.
Another expansion for Marvel Legendary is due in May! It's a small expansion, as in 100 cards, it will contain a new keyword, Switcheroo, and two returning ones, Investigate and Teleport from Noir and Dark City/Secret Wars respectively.
As the previous small expansions, there will be 5 new heroes, 2 new henchman groups, but only one new mastermind, to make room for 5 new bystanders.
Mensa has announced the winners of this years Mensa Select awards;
The Spanish publisher Ludonova has announced Reiner Knizia's Babylonia. Not alot is known so far, but we do know it's a tile laying game, in which "chaining" the tiles is an important mechanic, since scoring relies on these long chains, the score which is awarded continuously.
Days of Wonder has announced Ticket to Ride: London, which is a scaled down version of the original, much like Ticket to Ride: New York, but set in 1970s London. The game supports 2-4 players, and will take about 10-15 minutes to play.
North Star Games latest deep sea gem, Oceans, is LIVE on Kickstarter starting today. The game is the next step in the excellent Evolution series.
Gale Force Nine has revealed they are releasing a reprint of the classic board game Dune. Along with this, they are planning to release multiple other Dune based titles, and we are very excited about this, because Dune is freaking awesome.
The Silver River is a new 4X game, currently on Kickstarter, designed by Robert Burke and Nate Blivins, and artwork byt Ton Ho Sim.

Weta Workshop, a movie-making firm studio, known for the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Avatar and Mad Max: Fury Road, has announced a District 9: The Board Game Kickstarter Campaign. A movie, which they were very involved in doing.
The New Zealand based company has released one board game before, GKR: Heavy Hitters, which has spawned a couple of expansions.
Prospero Hall, the makers Villainous and Jurassic Park: Danger!, and Ravensburger have announced that Jaws is coming for to your table in June 2019. For those of you unfamiliar with Jaws: It's a huge shark that eats pretty much everything in it's way, and it derives from the classic movie with the same name. Kinda lika the "The Meg" but, you know, good.
An expansion for the Disney themed game Villainous is to be released i March the 3rd, and will be only be avaible in Target stores (in US) until the end of the month. After that, our guess is that you can pretty much pick it up anyware. What goes for the rest of the world is a bit uncertain at this point but there has been hints from Ravensburger that the game will be released in germany in March aswell.
The BIG ONE has hit San Francisco and has destroyed the area. It is time to rebuild, but beware of the AFTERSHOCK! The game is desgined by no other than Alan R. Moon (Ticket to Ride) and Bobby West, an up-and-comer in the business. The Kickstarter campaign launches the 29th of January.
The Portuguese designer Vital Lacerda, known for titles such as Vinhos, Lisboa, and CO₂, is working on a game named On Mars.
Like the name suggests, the game is set on Mars, and the players take the roles as chief austronats working for private space exploration companies. They are to develop the biggest, most advanced colony on mars scoring points for different mission goals and hidden corporate agendas.
Mining, building, exploring, upgrading buildings, recruiting and managing settlers are their tasks, aswell as getting power to the colonies.
In the end, the colony should be self-sufficient.
Rio Grande games has announced that Underwater Cities is hitting the stores in US this spring. This version has upgraded components such as thicker boards. The game, which was released in 2018, has been designed by the Czech designer Vladimír Suchýwhich (Pulsar 2849 and Last Will), has reached a high ranking on BGG, and looks very solid.
Fantasy Flight has announced The Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-earth, another card game set in Middle Earth 3rd age. Why should we care?
Well first of all, it's Fantasy Flight. Second of all, it's Lord of the Rings.
Joking aside, the game looks solid from where we sit; a Mansion of Madness meets Lord of the Rings situation, which can be nothing else than awesome.
A new, exciting card game is currently on Kickstarter; War of the Worlds: The New Wave designed by the fairly unknown designer Denis Plastinin and is being published by Grey Fox Games.
The game events unfold several years after the original 'War of the Worlds’ story by Herbert Wells.
Extraterrestrial invasion occurs again, but this time the Martians arrived on a giant spaceship which lands in one of the backwater districts in Scotland.
During the game one player commands the alien forces, and the other one becomes a leader of UK self-defense units. The main objective of the invaders is to completely annihilate the population of Great Britain, while the opposite side needs to deal enough damage to the Martian army.
The game is played with 2 asymmetrical decks of cards, a playing board, tokens and miniatures.
Forgotten Circles, an expansion to the extremely hyped game Gloomhaven is hitting the stores this spring!
The expansion features twenty new scenarios that take place after the events of the original Gloomhaven campaign and involve one new character class — the Aesther Diviner — and her attempts to prevent an approaching calamity. The accompanying scenario book breaks these scenarios up across multiple pages to create more dynamic and surprising encounters.
The expansion also features seven new monster types (including three new bosses) and fourteen new items.

Huge news for you TM fans! Terraforming Mars: Turmoil, the 5th expansion for Terraforming Mars is underway, and Terraforming Mars Legacy, like the title suggests, a standalone "Legacy" style of game set in the same universe is being designed in this very moment!
The next expansion for Artipia Games "Fields of Green" is to be released soon, out sometime in the spring 2019, probably February or March.
